at the Historic Elsinore Theatre
The Cavatina Duo has been earning rave review across the United States! They continue to thrill audiences with their unique combination of flue and guitar. Moliner, originally from Spain, shared that, "It's still unknown for many, but there are lots of composers who have written music for this combination." She notes that it was this particular combination of music that first brought herself and Bosnian born Denis Azabagic. On Thursday, November 19, 2006 this exciting pair will share from a repertoire that includes music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and contemporary periods. This promises to be a memorable evening.
At 12:30 pm, the day of the concert, the Cavatina Duo will begin the day with a student outreach concert. This concert, also to be held in the Historic Elsinore Theatre, is free for students and their parents. It will be an incredible opportunity for students of all ages to see these performers up close and personal. It will also be an opportunity for them to experience this style of music in a way that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
Join us for both concerts and bring a friend. It promises to be a day that you will never forget.

Budginas, born in Russia, lives in California, teaches college and plays lots of concerts. He calls his concerts 'Classics for the Rest of Us' and 'not for stuffed shirts.' He says performing classic music in a way people can relat to and have fun wit, is his goal.

Pianafiddle was an outstanding success. Everyone we spoke to said that they felt that this was one of our best performances ever. Lynn and Adam really interacted well with the audience and the audience showed their appreciation by calling them back repeatedly for encores!

The Claremont Trio will be our next concert. It won't be until February so be sure to mark you calendars for that one. It also promises to be a great night.
